Capital One is set to open its second “Landing” location – a hybrid between an airport lounge and a full-service restaurant – at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This 12,500-square-foot space in Terminal B, accessible via the bridge to Concourse A, aims to redefine the airport dining experience by offering high-quality food and drinks in a relaxed setting.
A Culinary Destination in the Sky
The Capital One Landing at LGA, in partnership with Chef José Andrés and his team, will serve Spanish-style tapas and globally inspired dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu includes classics like pan con tomate and gambas al ajillo, as well as new additions such as patatas bravas and vegan chilaquiles. A curated beverage list complements the food, featuring signature cocktails like the “Perfect Gin & Tonic Landing G&T” alongside non-alcoholic options.
The concept addresses a common pain point for travelers: limited access to good food at airports. Instead of rushing through meals, guests can enjoy a chef-driven dining experience with efficient service. Tableside rituals like caviar cones and martini service add a touch of luxury, while integrated power outlets, luggage storage, and fast WiFi ensure convenience.
Access and Eligibility
Access to the Capital One Landing is primarily reserved for Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders. Primary cardmembers on eligible tickets receive automatic entry, while guests may be allowed based on spending thresholds ($75,000 per calendar year). Authorized users can gain access if the cardholder elects to pay an additional fee. Non-cardholders can purchase access for $90 each, with a reduced rate for children under 12.
Guests can enter up to three hours before their departure or earlier if connecting flights permit. The space is designed to accommodate travelers needing a quick meal or those wanting to relax before boarding.
A Step Forward for Airport Hospitality
The opening of the Capital One Landing at LGA marks a significant step in transforming the airport experience. By combining dining with lounge-like amenities, Capital One aims to create a destination that travelers actively seek out rather than simply passing through. The facility’s design, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, lush greenery, and a 30-foot mural, further enhances the ambiance.
The Capital One Landing represents a shift towards prioritizing quality and comfort in air travel. By providing a premium dining experience, the company hopes to set a new standard for airport hospitality.
